The Rev. Dr. Eric Parker:  Head of School

Rev. Parker is a native of Laurel, Mississippi and is the pastor of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Lexington. He holds a B.A. in Psychology (University of Southern Mississippi), a M.A. in Theology (Reformed Theological Seminary), and a Ph.D. in Religion (McGill University). He has been an educator for the past thirteen years, teaching students in Christian schools, homeschool co-ops, as well as undergraduates and seminarians. He has enjoyed introducing young minds to Latin and Greek, the Bible, and Church history. Most recently Rev. Parker served as chaplain and Bible teacher at the Buffalo Creek Boys School in Rockbridge county. When he’s not teaching he enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and exploring the pages of old forgotten books.

Aubrey Parker:  K-2nd, Math & Science, & School Nurse

Aubrey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Belhaven University and has experience in both middle and high school education. She has taught in homeschool settings, and she taught for three years at a private Christian school under an MPSA (now MAIS) teacher certification. She has experience teaching everything from Earth/Space science to Microbiology, Chemistry, and Health among other classes. She has also engaged in private tutoring throughout the years, even tutoring Calculus long-distance. Aubrey has always enjoyed learning and being in an educational environment. She has a passion for sharing her joy of learning, especially math, science, art, and music to others. She also holds an Associates Degree in nursing and is currently a Registered Nurse. In her role as school nurse, she will care for students’ physical and mental needs, as well as continuing to educate, helping students understand their minds, bodies, the world, and their place in it.

Barry Hause:  Middle School Humanities, Music & Guitar Instructor

Barry Hause studied philosophy and music at Emory University in Atlanta and musicology at Philipps-Universität in Weimar, Germany. He is a graduate in Guitar Performance of the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Weimar. He actively concertizes as a soloist and chamber music player, having performed many solo concerts in Europe and in the United States. He recently joined harpsichordist Judy Bain in performing L. Boccherinis Introductio et Fandango, and he was recently featured as a background musician in the James Brown Biopic film "Get On Up." Barry has taught classes on the History of Jazz, History of Popular Music and General Music as a part time faculty member at Mississippi State University and Belhaven University in Jackson, MS, and he has dedicated years to guitar instruction at home-school co-ops and primary schools. In his free time Barry enjoys hiking, kayaking, and fishing in the beautiful VA outdoors.
